Lacework

Lacework uses AI to establish baselines of normal behavior across your cloud infrastructure and alerts on deviations. Instead of static rules, it learns what's normal for your environment — typical API call patterns, data flows, user behavior — and flags anomalies that could indicate compromise or misconfiguration. The platform provides unified visibility across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes. It continuously monitors for compliance violations (PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.) and provides automated remediation suggestions. The AI also correlates events across services to identify multi-stage attacks that rule-based systems would miss. False positive rates can be high during the initial learning period (30-60 days). Organizations with highly dynamic infrastructure may struggle with the AI's baseline modeling.
